Shooting incidents reported in Argentina and Mexico

Two separate shooting incidents involving young men have been reported in Argentina and Mexico.

In Las Termas de Río Hondo, Santiago del Estero, 18-year-old Lucas Emiliano Medina was critically injured after being shot in the neck. Authorities are investigating whether the incident was the result of a “ruleta rusa” (Russian roulette) game involving a revolver, though they are also considering the possibility of a struggle or the involvement of other individuals. Criminalistics experts have processed the scene in the San Martín neighborhood to collect evidence.

In Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, a young man was shot in the abdomen by two individuals traveling on a black motorcycle. According to his mother, the victim managed to run to his home on 20 de Abril street to seek safety after the attackers fired multiple shots. Emergency services transported the victim to Hospital Bicentenario, and local security forces have launched an operation to locate the suspects.
