Shooting Stars SC faces pressure after NPFL loss to Kun Khalifat

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) is facing significant challenges in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) following a 2-0 defeat to Kun Khalifat. Head coach Salisu Yusuf attributed the loss to defensive failures, noting that the team played poorly and allowed the opponents to capitalize on their shortcomings. Agor Chukwuma and Uche scored the goals for Kun Khalifat to secure the victory.

The club's poor performance has led to mounting pressure from supporters. Currently sitting in 17th position with only seven points from seven matches, fans have expressed frustration and are calling for the reinstatement of former head coach Nurudeen Aweroro. Aweroro previously led the team to a third-place finish and a continental qualification before his departure in August.
