Shooting Stars Sports Club parts ways with head coach Nurudeen Aweroro

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has announced the departure of head coach Nurudeen Aweroro by mutual consent. The club also confirmed that team manager Tammy Tamuno and assistant coach Shakiru Lawal will be leaving their positions with immediate effect.

The decision follows a successful 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season, in which Aweroro led the Oluyole Warriors to a third-place finish. This achievement secured the Ibadan-based club a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup.

In an official statement, 3SC expressed appreciation for the professionalism and commitment of the departing technical team. The club noted that the separation was amicable following discussions between all parties. Remaining assistant coaches have been instructed to oversee the technical department on an interim basis while management searches for a new head coach.
