Shopee launches ShopeeVIP+ subscription bundling Netflix access

Shopee has launched ShopeeVIP+, a new subscription program that bundles Netflix access with various shopping benefits. This marks Netflix’s first e-commerce partnership in Southeast Asia. The program rolled out on September 8 across Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Subscribers receive a Netflix Mobile Plan as part of the bundle, with options to upgrade to Basic, Standard, or Premium tiers for higher video quality and more simultaneous devices. In addition to streaming, members receive shopping perks such as unlimited free instant delivery, daily discount vouchers, and 20% off selected brands. In the Philippines, the bundle also includes access to partner services like Canva Pro, ChatGPT Go, and Duolingo.

Pricing varies by market. In Indonesia, ShopeeVIP+ starts from Rp 40,000 per month. In the Philippines, multi-month plans start at PHP 140, while single-month options are PHP 169. Existing Shopee VIP members can upgrade to the plus tier for an additional PHP 41 per month.
