Shopify and She Did That. Host Black Business Month Event in NYC

On August 4, Shopify partnered with the organization She Did That. to present a free, day‑long celebration of Black Business Month at Shopify’s New York City space in SoHo. The event featured a curated marketplace of twelve Black‑owned businesses spanning beauty, fashion, jewelry, home, wellness, and specialty food and beverage.

Attendees could shop the marketplace from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., participate in a Founders Workshop at 2 p.m. offering practical growth advice, and join an evening conversation titled “Brilliance in Motion” followed by a networking mixer. The programming aimed to highlight and support Black women entrepreneurs and provide resources for both aspiring and established founders.
