Shopping centers in Brazil launch holiday seasonal programming

Several shopping centers in Brazil are beginning their holiday festivities with various themed attractions and events.

BarraShopping in Rio de Janeiro is launching its ‘Um Sonho de Natal’ program on November 1. The schedule includes a Christmas Village, an illuminated tree, a carousel, and storytelling sessions. Fireworks displays are scheduled for Saturdays throughout November and December. While most attractions are free, visits to the Christmas Village and the carousel require free scheduling via the Multi app starting November 2.

Shopping West Plaza will host its holiday season opening on November 14 with a free Christmas parade featuring a band and Santa’s helpers. This year’s theme, ‘Natal das Renas Douradas,’ includes a Parisian-inspired carousel and various interactive installations. Santa Claus will be available for visits from November 14 through December 24, including a dedicated space for pet photography.
