Shores Of Null announces new album ‘Homesick’ for 2026

Italian melodic death-doom band Shores Of Null has announced the release of their fifth full-length album, ‘Homesick’, scheduled for October 16, 2026, via Dusktone. The band, which has maintained its original lineup since its founding in Rome in 2013, describes the record as their most mature and focused work to date.

The album features ten tracks that explore themes of longing, loss, vulnerability, and the ambiguous nature of home. The band recently released the second single, ‘Son of the Tide’, accompanied by a lyric video. The track utilizes sea imagery as a metaphor for fate and the forces that shape human life.

‘Homesick’ includes guest appearances from Natalie Koskinen of Shape of Despair, who provides vocals on ‘The Numbing Void’, and Shaun MacGowan of My Dying Bride, who contributes violin to ‘Dreaming of a Scar’ and ‘The Numbing Void’. The album is designed as a cohesive listening experience, balancing heavy, growl-driven verses with soaring melodic choruses.
