Short bob hair trends emerge from New York Fashion Week

The short bob is emerging as a major hair trend for 2027, as showcased during recent New York Fashion Week shows. Moving away from the longer, layered styles of the 2000s, the upcoming trend features much shorter cuts that sit just below the earlobes.

Designers are presenting various interpretations of this look. Carolina Herrera featured a glamorous version with an off-center part and brushed-out texture, while Christian Siriano presented a more structured, sleek style with a straight center part. Additionally, Khaite showcased a bold variation inspired by the Korean Hime cut, which uses sharp layers to frame the face.
