Short film winners announced at Madrid Short Film Week

The 28th edition of the Madrid Short Film Week concluded with the announcement of several award winners at the Palacio de Linares. The short film ‘Cara de Cona’ secured the top honors, winning the Best Short Film award—which serves as a qualifier for the Goya Awards—as well as the first Telemadrid prize of 6,000 euros.

Other notable winners included ‘Cosas de mayores’, which received a second Telemadrid prize, and ‘The Getaway’, which earned the Cine Doré award. Producers and directors expressed gratitude for the support from the Community of Madrid, noting the significant economic and emotional challenges involved in short film production.
