Shota Yasuda debuts as singer-songwriter with new digital single

Shota Yasuda, a member of the group SUPER EIGHT, has announced his debut as a singer-songwriter with the release of his first digital single, ‘Bakka / Madarabiyori’, on September 11.

The single features three tracks written and composed by Yasuda. ‘Bakka’ is described as a bright, upbeat melody-core track with a three-piece band sound. In contrast, ‘Madarabiyori’ reflects the emotions of loneliness Yasuda experienced while recovering from meningioma surgery in 2017. The release also includes his solo track ‘9’, which explores the complexities of human nature and conflicting emotions.

To celebrate the launch, Yasuda will host an Instagram Live on the evening of his birthday. This musical endeavor follows his release of the photography book ‘DOWN TO EARTH’ last year, as part of his ongoing effort to express his authentic self through various creative mediums.
