Shota Yasuda promotes new film ‘Heiko to Suichoku’

The human drama explores the relationship between a brother with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), played by Yasuda, and his sister, played by Non, as they navigate life changes following news of her marriage.

During the event, Yasuda discussed the themes of the film, emphasizing the importance of accepting different versions of ‘normal’ without judgment. He expressed a desire for individuals to show genuine interest in others to foster social change. In a lighter moment, Yasuda shared personal quirks, including his habit of being naked at home, noting he only wears an apron while cooking.

In a touching moment during the stage greeting, child actress Sakura Kono, who plays a young girl in the film, presented Yasuda with a bouquet of flowers. Yasuda was noted for his warm interaction with the young performer.
