Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo film features Shun Oguri and Liv Morgan

The film ‘Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo’, directed by Takashi Miike and distributed by NEON, is set to be released in Japan on October 23. The suspense action film is set in Tokyo's Kabukicho and follows a corrupt detective, played by Shun Oguri, who navigates the dark underworld of the city while dealing with personal struggles and criminal investigations.

The international production features a diverse cast, including Lily James as an FBI agent and WWE star Liv Morgan, who portrays Megan Lovejoy, the daughter of a missing U.S. presidential candidate. Cast members Shun Oguri and Shotaro Mamiya have discussed the production, noting the film's unique atmosphere and the intense, unpredictable nature of working under Miike's direction.

Following its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, the film has been selected for several international festivals, including Sitges, Stockholm, and Lisbon.
