Shpat Kasapi posthumous song ‘A je rahat pa mu’ released

Nearly one year after the passing of singer Shpat Kasapi, his widow, Selvije Jao, has released a posthumous musical project titled ‘A je rahat pa mu’.

Jao revealed via Instagram that the song was originally intended to be released during Kasapi’s planned appearance on ‘Big Brother VIP Albania 5’. Before his participation, the singer had provided four demo versions of the track, from which Jao selected this specific version. Following Kasapi’s death in November, the release was delayed as Jao sought the emotional strength to share the work with the public.

The completed project was delivered to her by producer Anton Prendi around March or April. Jao expressed gratitude to producers Artirec and Imperial B for their dedication to the project. She described the release as a ‘legacy’ from her late husband, intended to ensure his voice and memory continue to live on through his music.
