Shraddha Dubey arrested in Nagpur for Shiva Sharma murder case

Fashion model Shraddha Dubey, the prime suspect in the death of Lucknow businessman Shiva Sharma, has been arrested in Nagpur. The arrest was conducted by a joint team of the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force and Lucknow police. Dubey was apprehended alongside her sister, Rashmi Dubey, and their driver, Danish. All three suspects had been wanted by authorities with a reward of 50,000 rupees each.

The case stems from the death of 28-year-old cafe owner Shiva Sharma on October 9, after he allegedly fell from a fourth-floor balcony of an apartment in the Hazratganj area of Lucknow. While Sharma’s family has accused Dubey of murder and blackmailing, Dubey has maintained her innocence through social media videos, claiming that Sharma committed suicide due to significant financial debts.

Following the arrests, the suspects were placed on a 72-hour transit remand to be brought to Lucknow for interrogation. Police are also investigating potential accomplices who may have assisted the trio during their time on the run, which reportedly included travel through Nepal and Agra before they were traced to Nagpur.
