Shrek characters join Ubisoft's Brawlhalla in crossover event

Ubisoft has launched a limited-time "Brawlhalla × Shrek" crossover that runs through 19 August. The fighting‑game Brawlhalla now features playable versions of Shrek, Princess Fiona and Puss in Boots, with the series' donkey appearing as a companion character. Two new maps – Shrek’s Swamp for ranked play and Shrek’s Muddy Swamp for casual matches – were created for the event.

The collaboration adds exclusive cosmetic items, including a knockout effect with the giant cookie‑man Mongo, emojis of Lord Farquaad and other DreamWorks characters, and themed weapons and skins. It celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Shrek film franchise, which debuted in 2001 and has earned more than $2.9 billion worldwide.

The event is available globally to all Brawlhalla players, with the new content purchasable with real money for the duration of the promotion.
