Shreveport man arrested for domestic stabbing

Kenyon Bush, 38, has been arrested by the Shreveport Police Department following a violent domestic incident. According to investigators, an argument occurred between Bush and a woman with whom he had been in a relationship for approximately one year.

After initially leaving the residence, Bush reportedly re-entered the home through a bedroom window. He then allegedly forced the victim and her teenage daughter into a bedroom, where he stabbed the victim multiple times in the abdomen and back with a pocketknife. The victim's daughter managed to escape and alert officers waiting outside.

The victim was transported to Ochsner LSU Health with life-threatening injuries but has since been reported to be in stable condition. Bush admitted to the stabbing and was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on a charge of Domestic Abuse Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
