Shreveport man arrested on child trafficking and drug charges

Johnny Cannon was arrested in Shreveport following a coordinated multi-agency operation involving the Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes and VICE units, alongside the Louisiana Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

Cannon faces a wide range of felony charges, including human trafficking of children for sexual purposes, felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Additionally, he is charged with multiple counts related to the possession of Schedule I and Schedule II controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute, possession of a legend drug, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon while in possession of controlled substances.

Authorities stated that the investigation remains active.
