Shreveport police arrest two individuals for alleged crimes against juveniles

The Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit has arrested two individuals following an investigation involving two juvenile victims.

Brandon M. Martin, 35, was taken into custody on September 1st. He faces charges including two counts of sexual battery of a child under the age of 13, two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. The investigation followed reports that a 12-year-old victim was sexually assaulted by Martin.

Ashleigh Chatelain, 33, was also arrested on two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Investigators allege that Chatelain provided alcoholic beverages and tobacco vaping products to a 14-year-old victim. Both suspects were booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
