Shreveport police arrest two men after drug and gun seizure

Two men were arrested in Shreveport following a joint operation between the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office and the Shreveport Police Department’s Warrants Unit. During the execution of an arrest warrant at a residence on Grassmere Street, officers encountered a man fleeing the scene, who was subsequently apprehended.

With assistance from the Violent Crimes Abatement Team (VCAT), a search warrant was executed at the home. The search led to the seizure of approximately 10 pounds of marijuana, three firearms, and $12,395 in cash.

Robert Henderson was arrested on charges including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and illegal carrying of a weapon with a controlled dangerous substance. Semja Henderson was also arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Both individuals were processed at the Shreveport Police Department jail.
