Shrewsbury Steam Rally steam engines historic vehicles Onslow Park family event

The 2026 Shrewsbury Steam Rally is a two‑day family‑friendly event scheduled for Sunday 30 August and Monday 31 August 2026 at Onslow Park in Shrewsbury. Over 1,200 attractions will be on display, ranging from working steam engines and classic vehicles to historic commercial trucks, buses, fire engines, vintage cycles and motorcycles.

The highlight is the Grand Parade of Steam, featuring a cavalcade of Showman’s engines, traction engines, Sentinel wagons and steam rollers. A dedicated farming area showcases the Golden Age of Victorian Farming with shire horses, reaper binders and a threshing box, while more than 240 pre‑ and post‑1940 tractors are exhibited. Visitors can purchase tickets online, and free car parking and on‑site catering are provided.
