Shri Rajput Sabha distributes pensions to 51 women in Kota
In Kota, Rajasthan, the Shri Rajput Sabha organized a program to provide financial support to vulnerable women during the Raksha Bandhan festival. The organization distributed the tenth installment of monthly pensions to 51 widows and abandoned women, as well as an elderly couple.
While the standard monthly pension is 800 rupees, the organization added an extra 200 rupees for the festival, bringing the total payment to 1,000 rupees per recipient. This initiative, which began in November 2025 with only 15 women, has expanded to support 51 individuals.
Beyond direct financial aid, the Shri Rajput Sabha is focusing on self-reliance. Since October 2025, the group has distributed 30 sewing machines to women to help them establish livelihoods through tailoring and embroidery.
