Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust strengthens oversight

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is implementing new administrative and oversight measures at the Ram temple premises in Ayodhya. General Secretary Govind Dev Giri stated that the Trust aims to strengthen monitoring and supervision to prevent future security lapses, specifically following a recent incident involving the theft of donations.

To enhance operational discipline, the Trust has appointed Air Marshal (Retd) Jeetendra Mishra as its first CEO and Mahesh Bhagchandka as Treasurer. Giri emphasized a division of responsibilities where religious rituals and traditions remain under the guidance of saints and acharyas, while administrative and employee management follows professional, practical lines.

New leadership has arrived in Ayodhya to be briefed on ongoing operations and to integrate into the existing system. Giri noted that continuous supervision is essential to ensure that management remains consistent and that opportunities for misconduct are minimized.
