Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust expands Sugam Darshan booking window

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has announced significant changes to the Sugam Darshan pass system to improve accessibility for devotees visiting the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The Trust is extending the advance booking window from 15 days to 90 days and has increased the daily quota of online passes from 975 to 2,000.

Under the new phased arrangement, passes will be released in seven stages—at 90, 62, 30, 14, 7, 3, and one day before the scheduled visit—alongside an eighth stage for same-day Tatkal passes. To prevent misuse and automated booking fraud, the Trust is implementing a verification-based system. Applicants for advance passes will receive notification within 24 to 48 hours following technical verification.

The Trust emphasized that Sugam Darshan passes are entirely free and cautioned the public against paying third parties for access. To combat fraud, a dedicated telephone helpline and email reporting facility will be introduced. Devotees are advised to use only the official authorized website for bookings.
