Promotional posters for the film ‘Shri Ramayan’ have drawn criticism from social media users due to perceived visual errors. Netizens have mocked a specific poster featuring the character Sugriva, where a humanoid monkey character is depicted wearing eyeglasses.

Critics have labeled the error a ‘time travel’ mistake, questioning the presence of eyewear in the Treta Yuga era. The film, which aims to introduce the epic to younger generations, stars Dev Sharma as Rama and Anjali Arora as Sita, with Sheel Verma as Lakshmana and Nirbhay Wadhwa as Hanuman.
