Shrinking cast and crew discuss Emmy nominations and Season 4

The cast and crew of the Emmy-nominated Apple TV comedy series ‘Shrinking’ have shared insights following the show’s third season, which received 10 Emmy nominations including Outstanding Comedy Series.

Co-creator and star Jason Segel indicated that the upcoming fourth season will move past the acute stage of grief. Segel noted that the new cycle will explore the clumsiness and hilarity of attempting to move forward and find happiness after a period of intense loss.

Technical members of the production team also discussed the series' emotional depth and production challenges. Sound mixer Anna Wilbourn highlighted the difficulties of working within the show’s practical sets, while Foley mixer Alex Jongbloed emphasized the importance of natural sound to balance the show’s shifts between comedy and tragedy.
