Shropshire Council launches Citymapper partnership to streamline travel planning

Shropshire Council has partnered with the Citymapper app, officially launching the service on 3 August 2026. The collaboration integrates public transport, walking, cycling and the county’s Connect on‑Demand service into a single journey‑planning platform, allowing residents and visitors to compare routes and choose the most suitable option.

Council transport portfolio holder Cllr Rob Wilson said the new tool will make travel information easier to find, encourage more sustainable travel choices and help shape future transport improvements by providing data on demand and connectivity trends.
