Shruti Haasan discusses PCOS, motherhood, and workplace health

Actress Shruti Haasan has shared personal insights regarding her health and her views on motherhood and workplace wellness.

Haasan discussed her experience with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), noting that she had worried about her ability to conceive naturally since the age of 14. Following consultations with gynecologist Dr. Dhrupti Dedhia, she expressed renewed optimism about motherhood, stating she is open to both natural birth and adoption.

Additionally, the actress addressed the importance of menstrual health awareness in professional environments. She noted that while she previously felt uncomfortable discussing her periods on film sets, she now advocates for open communication to allow for better scheduling and health considerations. She suggested that if men experienced similar biological cycles, there would likely be formal contractual provisions for such needs.
