Shtip autism center receives new sensory space donation
A new sensory space has been inaugurated at the Day Center for Persons with Autism in Shtip, North Macedonia. The facility was established through a donation from the Dr. Verica Mehandziska Foundation to provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children and their families.
The space is equipped with modern didactic tools and new props designed to aid in the stimulation, development, and therapy of children with autism. Representatives from the Municipality of Shtip noted that the local government continues to provide the necessary human resources to ensure the center's ongoing operation, while the Foundation emphasized that creating such spaces is part of its broader commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with autism.
