Shubman Gill rises to No. 2 in ICC ODI rankings after India’s 3‑0 win over Afghanistan

India white‑washed Afghanistan 3‑0 in a home ODI series, with captain Shubman Gill scoring 84 and 154 in the first two matches and amassing 238 runs at an average of 238.00. His performances lifted him three places to second in the ICC ODI batting rankings, 24 points behind leader Daryl Mitchell.
