Shudder's horror film Hellcat launches on streaming platform August 14

Shudder will debut its original psychological horror feature Hellcat on August 14, streaming exclusively on the service and also available via AMC+. The film is written and directed by genre filmmaker Brock Bodell and stars Dakota Gorman as Lena, a woman who awakens inside a moving camper trailer with a severe wound and is given one hour to reach a doctor or face a fatal infection. Todd Terry co‑stars as the enigmatic driver, while the supporting cast includes James Austin Johnson and Liz Atwater.

Hellcat premiered in the United Kingdom at FrightFest 2025 and has been praised for its claustrophobic setting, tight pacing and a twist on werewolf mythology.
