Shueisha Games delays ‘UN:Me’ release to 2027
Shueisha Games has announced that the release of its soul-triage adventure game, ‘UN:Me’, has been postponed from 2026 to 2027. The company stated the delay is intended to improve quality, specifically through the use of motion capture to enhance the subtle movements and facial expressions of the characters.
The game follows a girl inhabited by four distinct souls. Voice actress Yumiri Hanamori has been cast as the protagonist, tasked with portraying the humanity of each soul within a single body. New details regarding two of the souls, ‘Soul II’ and ‘Soul IV’, were also revealed, highlighting their differing personalities and temperaments.
‘UN:Me’ is planned for release on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam). A playable demo featuring Hanamori’s voice work will be available at the Shueisha Games booth during Tokyo Game Show 2026.
