Shujinkou JRPG Receives Steam Community Items and Announces v1.46 Leaderboard Update

Rice Games announced that the JRPG Shujinkou now has a suite of Steam community items. Players can collect 15 trading cards depicting game artwork, earn badges, use 10 emoticons, 10 profile backgrounds, and choose from more than 40 character avatars. The items are available immediately and the game is back on sale on Steam.

The developer also outlined the upcoming v1.46 update, which will add working leaderboards for minigame scores and other stats, planned for release before the current Steam sale ends. The Shujinkou trademark has been registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and a sequel, Shujinkou 2, remains in development. A major Shujinkou‑related announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
