Shukers Farm Shop family cuts ties after animal cruelty convictions

The Shukers Farm Shop, operated by Andrew, Debra and Luke Shuker in Weston Coyney, released a statement addressing a long‑standing private dispute with relatives Matthew and Courtney Shuker, who previously ran Shukers Pet & Animal Feeds on the same premises.

Matthew and Courtney Shuker were sentenced for more than 30 animal‑cruelty offences committed at Westwood Hall Farm in Leek. The Farm Shop family said they had not visited the farm for years, were unaware of the animals' condition, and had been repeatedly assured that no wrongdoing had occurred until the court case became public.
