Shunsuke Michieda appointed Maison Valentino brand ambassador
Shunsuke Michieda, a member of the seven-person group Naniwa Danshi and an actor, has been appointed as a brand ambassador for the Italian fashion house Maison Valentino. During a press conference in Tokyo, Michieda expressed his honor regarding the appointment, noting that Valentino was the first brand he purchased after his debut.
Michieda has maintained a relationship with the fashion house for approximately two years and has attended brand shows in Paris on two occasions. At the announcement, he wore a black blouse from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, which featured over 140 hours of manual bead embroidery.
In addition to his fashion role, Michieda continues to expand his acting career. His upcoming projects include starring in the film ‘Uruwashii Yoi no Tsuki’ in October 2026, which has been selected for the 31st Busan International Film Festival, and the film ‘Leviathan’ in February 2027. He is also scheduled to appear at the Asia Artist Awards 2026 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, this December.
