Shunsuke Michieda to star in new Kenei Pharmaceutical commercials

Shunsuke Michieda, a member of the seven-member group Naniwa Danshi, will appear in new commercials for Kenei Pharmaceutical’s ‘Kaba-kun Series.’ The advertisements, featuring the ‘Kenei Azulen’ and ‘Azulen Throat Spray’ segments, are scheduled for release on YouTube starting October 8, with nationwide television broadcasts beginning in mid-October.

In the commercials, Michieda introduces the anti-inflammatory properties of the active ingredient azulene, which is used to treat throat pain and swelling. Michieda noted that the shoot required a more mature and calm tone compared to his previous energetic image, aiming to provide a soothing experience for viewers.

Marking the fifth anniversary of his CD debut, Michieda shared that he maintains humility and gratitude toward his fans as core principles. He also expressed interest in increasing opportunities to meet fans outside of live concerts and mentioned a personal goal to obtain a motorcycle license.
