Shunsuke Saito's market value rises to 4 million euros
Japanese forward Shunsuke Saito has seen a significant increase in his market value following his performances in the Belgian Pro League. According to a recent update from the transfer information site Transfermarkt, the 21-year-old's value rose from 1.3 million euros in July to 4 million euros (approximately 710 million yen) in October.
Saito, who moved from Mito HollyHock to KVC Westerlo in January, has recorded four goals in seven matches this season. His recent form also earned him a debut for the Japan national team, where he started in a match against Venezuela. His current market valuation now ranks him fifth among players in the Belgian league, surpassing the 3 million euro valuation of veteran Junya Ito.
