Shure announces WAVETOOL 4 audio monitoring software

Shure has announced the release of WAVETOOL 4, an updated professional audio monitoring and listening software designed for live sound, theatre, broadcast, and fixed installations. The platform integrates direct listening, instant replay, and team collaboration tools into a single environment to assist engineers in troubleshooting and production management.

Key technical upgrades include a Global Instant Replay feature that provides up to 30 minutes of system-wide audio history, allowing teams to investigate sporadic issues after they occur. The software now supports up to 192 channels and allows for eight simultaneous users. Additionally, the update features a customizable user interface and enhanced collaboration tools, including integrated chat, voice messages, and image sharing, to facilitate communication within production teams.
