Shweta Tiwari flags hygiene concerns after delivery incident

Television actor Shweta Tiwari has raised hygiene concerns on social media after alleging that a cockroach entered her home following a delivery from Swiggy Instamart. In a video shared on Instagram, Tiwari showed the insect moving around her house after she and her friends had ordered Red Bull through the quick-commerce platform.

Tiwari tagged Tukaram Mundhe, the Commissioner of the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA), appealing for his attention to the matter. The incident occurs amid heightened regulatory scrutiny of food safety and hygiene standards in Maharashtra, where the FDA has recently increased inspections of restaurants and quick-commerce warehouses. Some facilities have already faced permit suspensions due to hygiene violations.
