Shygirl announces second studio album ‘Swallow!’

British artist Shygirl has announced her second studio album, titled ‘Swallow!’, scheduled for release on November 6 via Because Music. The project follows her 2022 debut album, ‘Nymph’.

In a departure from her established electronic and club-focused sound, the new album incorporates more organic, acoustic, and indie elements, including piano and guitars. Shygirl described the music as a reflection of a period of personal maturity and contentment, exploring themes of love, vulnerability, and passion.

The announcement coincides with the release of the new single ‘Lucky (hymn)’, which features a dreamier, guitar-driven sound compared to her previous work. The track is accompanied by a music video directed by Shygirl and Austen Taylor Pease.
