SI Group appoints Marcello Boldrini as CEO

SI Group, a global developer and manufacturer of performance additives, process solutions, and chemical intermediates, has announced the appointment of Marcello Boldrini as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 19, 2026. Boldrini succeeds David Bradley, who has served as CEO since 2019.

Boldrini brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the specialty chemicals and materials industry across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He most recently served as CEO and Director of Kraton Corporation, where he led transformation initiatives that resulted in an annual EBITDA improvement of over $100 million. His previous experience includes senior management roles at Houghton International, Momentive/Hexion, and Ashland.

Outgoing CEO David Bradley is credited with leading the company through significant industry challenges and completing a capital restructuring in 2025 to strengthen the firm's financial foundation. Boldrini will be based at the company's headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.
