SI5 Global has released a free API designed to simplify product registration for ERP, POS, and e-commerce systems. The API allows users to query NCM (Mercosul Common Nomenclature) and CEST (Tax Substitution Code) information using a product's barcode (GTIN/EAN). The service utilizes a public catalog containing approximately 1.1 million products, with data primarily sourced from electronic supplier invoices and official tables.

The free tier of the API allows for 100 queries per day per token. Developers can implement the service using various programming languages, including Node.js, PHP, Python, C#, and Delphi.
