Siak Regent Afni Zulkifli inaugurates 83 officials

Siak Regency Regent Afni Zulkifli has inaugurated 83 officials, including administrators, supervisors, and community health center heads. During the ceremony held at Balairung Datuk Empat Suku, the Regent emphasized that promotions and job placements within the local government must be based on performance, competence, and talent management rather than personal connections with leadership.

Afni instructed the newly appointed officials to shift their mindset, stating that positions are a mandate to serve the public rather than a means to gain favor with superiors. She noted that the administration will implement ASN (civil servant) talent management to build a more professional and objective bureaucracy, where periodic evaluations of performance and target achievement will serve as the primary indicators for career development.
