Siam Commercial Bank launches SCB Gold Marketplace with major dealers

Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has launched the SCB Gold Marketplace on its SCB EASY application, partnering with three major Thai gold dealers: Hua Seng Heng, MTS Gold, and YLG. The platform allows users to trade gold in real-time, offering both 96.5% Thai standard gold and 99.99% international standard gold.

A key feature of the service is the ability to trade using US Dollars (USD) through SCB e-FCD accounts, which helps investors mitigate exchange rate volatility. The service offers zero trading fees and provides options for users to either hold gold digitally, pick up physical gold at partner shops, or have it delivered to their homes.

The initiative responds to the growing demand for gold investment in Thailand, which currently sees daily trading volumes exceeding 250 billion baht, ranking first in ASEAN and within the top ten globally. The platform aims to cater to digital-native investors and those seeking to diversify risk amidst global economic fluctuations.
