Siam Daikin Sales and Chiang Mai University partner for Net Zero Campus

Siam Daikin Sales Co., Ltd. and Chiang Mai University have entered into a strategic partnership to drive the Net Zero Campus initiative. The collaboration aims to integrate academic research with industrial expertise to improve energy management and reduce greenhouse gas emissions within university buildings.

The partnership focuses on three primary areas: enhancing building energy efficiency through high-performance technologies such as inverter and Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems; improving indoor air quality and ventilation standards to support learning and research; and implementing systematic refrigerant management throughout its lifecycle.

Additionally, the two parties will develop mechanisms to monitor and calculate verifiable reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. This data-driven approach is intended to create a scalable model that can eventually be applied to broader industrial sectors and support Thailand’s transition toward a low-carbon society.
