Sian Clifford stars in new mockumentary film ‘Lady’

The new mockumentary film ‘Lady’ is being released in cinemas, starring Sian Clifford as Lady Isabella, a narcissistic aristocrat. The film follows Isabella as she hires a documentary crew to record her life at her extravagant country estate, only for the project to pivot when she decides to compete in a regional talent show.

Directed by Samuel Abrahams, the production blends satire with elements of magical realism. The plot centers on Isabella’s desperate need for attention, which takes a surreal turn when she begins to literally turn invisible. The film explores themes of loneliness and the craving for connection beneath the character's bombastic persona.

Filming took place over three weeks in early 2025 at Somerleyton Hall, a Grade II* listed Victorian Anglo-Italian estate located in Suffolk, England. The cast also includes Laurie Kynaston and Juliet Cowan.
