Siargao welcomes new Hue Siargao resort and travel updates

The resort Hue Siargao has officially opened on Siargao Island, the surfing capital of the Philippines. Spanning nearly one hectare, the property features 33 accommodations, including various deluxe and casita room types. Founded by siblings Dennis and Dexter Lee, who previously launched Hue Boracay and Hue Palawan, the resort is designed with a contemporary aesthetic inspired by coastal elements and built to withstand island weather.

Amenities at the new resort include an infinity pool for guests, a cave pool for visitors, a fitness center, a Pilates studio, and a sauna. The development aims to integrate with the local community and showcase the natural landscape of the island.

For travelers visiting Siargao, General Luna is recommended as a primary base due to its proximity to surf schools, dining, and nightlife. Practical travel considerations include connecting through Cebu for flights, as there are currently no nonstop flights from Manila to Sayak Airport (IAO). The best window for boat and road activities is typically between April and August.
