Sibari–Sila road project receives 10.74 million euro funding boost

The regional government has reactivated 10.74 million euros in residual resources to complete the first lot of the Sibari–SS 177 Sila road project. This specific section, spanning from km 0+000 to km 5+366, had previously reached approximately 75% completion before work was halted.

Elisa Scutellà, the M5S group leader in the Regional Council, has filed an inquiry regarding the broader infrastructure plan. While acknowledging the reactivation of funds as a necessary step, Scutellà requested clarification on the total number of lots, the updated cost of the entire project, the remaining necessary funding, and a definitive timeline for the full completion of the Sibari–Sila connection.
