Sibaritide Hospital: Senator calls for completion of new facility

Following the inauguration of the first twenty-two outpatient clinics at the new Sibaritide Hospital, Senator Ernesto Rapani has called for decisive action to fully complete the facility. While the initial opening allows for autonomous operations, Rapani emphasized that the project must move toward full functionality to facilitate the transfer of medical activities from existing facilities in Corigliano and Rossano.

Key priorities for completion include finishing urbanization works and establishing essential connections to public utility networks. Additionally, Rapani highlighted the urgent need for improved public transportation, noting that patients must be able to reach the hospital via coherent routes, stops, and schedules that align with healthcare services to ensure accessibility for the entire Sibaritide region.
