Singapore expands AI support for SMEs through IMDA partnerships

The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) is expanding its support for Singaporean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to facilitate the integration of artificial intelligence. Through the National AI Impact Programme and the Digital Enterprise Blueprint, the initiative aims to help businesses utilize AI to improve customer service, innovation, and market competitiveness.

As part of this expansion, IMDA has partnered with technology firms including Singtel, Salesforce, Beyondsoft, and Stack-EZ. A key component is the Tech Bridge programme, a two-year partnership with Beyondsoft designed to connect 1,000 SMEs with proven AI solutions from global innovation hubs. The programme offers curated tools for sectors such as retail, wholesale, and food and beverage, providing complimentary 60-day trials and onboarding support to assist with practical implementation.
