Sibel Suiçmez addresses local demands and party developments in Trabzon

Yeni Parti Trabzon Deputy Sibel Suiçmez and Akçaabat District President Emre Şahin Köroğlu met with local tradespeople and residents in the Söğütlü neighborhood to address regional issues. During a visit to the area known as ‘Kafeler Caddesi’ near Trabzon University, officials discussed demands for increased security to prevent noise and disturbances, improved street lighting, and the pedestrianization of the street up to the taxi stand.

In a separate interview, Suiçmez discussed the rapid organizational progress of the Yeni Parti, noting that the party has established its necessary organs and is moving toward a convention process. She also addressed economic concerns in the region, specifically highlighting the difficulties faced by hazelnut producers due to the discrepancy between the Turkish Grain Board (TMO) base prices and market rates. Suiçmez stated that parliamentary groups will continue field studies across various provinces to maintain connection with the public.
